Waste Management Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Design Waste Systems: Develop and design solid waste, wastewater, recycling, and resource recovery systems that meet project and regulatory requirements.
• Environmental Impact Assessments: Conduct waste and environmental impact assessments to ensure compliance with UAE laws and sustainability standards.
• Data Analysis & Forecasting: Analyse waste generation data and model future waste management needs to guide planning and optimisation.
• Collaborate Across Teams: Work with cross‑functional teams including planners, construction, and environmental specialists to integrate waste solutions effectively.
• Regulatory Compliance Support: Ensure waste systems and processes comply with local and international environmental regulations and standards.
• Prepare Technical Documentation: Write clear technical reports, specifications, and project documentation for waste engineering deliverables.
• Stay Current with Technologies: Research and apply waste management technologies and best practice methods to enhance efficiency and sustainability.

Requirements

• Experience: Minimum 3–5 years engineering experience in waste management, environmental systems, or related engineering projects.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Engineering, Civil Engineering, or related technical field.
• Technical Competence: Proficient in CAD/GIS software and analytical tools for design and planning tasks.
• Project Controls: Capable of managing project schedules, milestones, and engineering reporting with accuracy.
• Leadership: Strong communicator able to engage with project teams, stakeholders, and regulatory contacts.
  
• Commercial Acumen: Understands cost and performance trade‑offs in waste solutions and business impact.
