Key Responsibilities
- Analyze and evaluate credit portfolios and financial reports, interpreting financial data and assessing market trends and volatility.
- Assess the creditworthiness and financial strength of the client through critical financial and risk analysis with the use of qualitative and quantitative data
- Complete credit/financial risk analysis report with clear and concise critical analysis based on informed judgment with due diligence in alignment with the Underwriter’s guidelines and risk appetite.
- Supports Underwriters and Credit Officers with buyer administration, including setting up a buyer’s account in Trade Enable.
- Complete an intricate financial statement spreading to ensure the financial ratios used are accurate to help understand the level of risk of buyers.
- Analysis and rating of a company’s profitability, asset quality, liquidity, leverage, and credit histories, and identify risks related to industry, management, and contingencies.
- Ensure all documents comply with UAE insurance regulations and internal company standards.
Requirements
- A Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related fields.
- 3+ years of experience in corporate credit analysis from a bank or similar financial institution is preferred.
- Those with an MBA or a CPA will be considered.
- An understanding of current global micro and macroeconomic conditions is important.
- Excellent oral and written communication is essential.
- Problem-solving and analytical skills to identify trends, root causes, and predict future risks.
