Site Engineer Infrastructure

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise on-site day-to-day infrastructure work and ensure it complies with the approved plans, specifications, and safety rules.
• Daily in contact with the contractors, inspection team, project manager, and authority teams for smooth working.
• Review material approving applications, inspection requests, survey data, and testing reports.
• Check and keep a record of site progress, spot all the delays and issues, and fix problems before they become a miserable challenge.
• Ensure the quality control, QA/QC, and HSE standards are being followed properly by the people on site.
• Work closely with the Dubai authorities and utility providers on tasks such as inspections, approvals, NOCs, and utility connections.
• Help with testing and commissioning of utility or infrastructure works, and ensure all the documents handed are complete.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related fields.
• A UAE driving license is preferred but not compulsory.
• English proficiency is compulsory, while Arabic proficiency has an additional advantage.
• A Professional Engineering (PE) certification course is preferred.
• Willingness to work on-site in all weather conditions in Dubai.
• Understanding of local building codes and regulations in the UAE will be considered as the first priority.
