Research Scientist Biotechnology

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and conduct experiments in areas such as cell culture, genetics, or molecular biology to support research goals.
• Study and analyze lab results carefully, and use the findings to improve experiments and suggest new ideas.
• Work closely with scientists, lab technicians, and cross-functional teams to advance projects.
• Maintain proper records of experiments and ensure the collected data is accurate and well-organized.
• Follow safety rules and ethical guidelines while handling biological materials and lab equipment.
• Staying updated with the latest scientific research, tools, and techniques in the domain.
• Ensuring all research adheres to Good Laboratory Practices (GLP), Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), and local UAE regulatory guidelines.

Requirements

• A PhD degree in Life Sciences, Pharmacy, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in clinical management.
• English, both written and verbal, is compulsory.
• A problem-solving mindset helps in identifying gaps and finding practical solutions during the study process.
• Willingness to learn new technologies is valuable, especially as digital tools continue to evolve in this field.
• Knowledge of industry-standard data analysis and reporting software, such as SAS and SQL.
