Key Responsibilities
- Conduct Site Inspections: Perform daily on‑site inspections of materials, workmanship, and processes to confirm adherence to approved drawings, specifications, and standards.
- Review Quality Documentation: Examine and approve method statements, Inspection Test Plans (ITPs), and material submittals before work begins.
- Monitor Construction Compliance: Check ongoing work against project specifications, raise non‑conformance reports (NCRs), and follow up on corrective actions.
- Coordinate with Teams: Work closely with contractors, subcontractors, consultants, and engineers to implement QC procedures and resolve issues promptly.
- Record & Report Quality Findings: Prepare clear inspection reports, maintain snag lists, and document quality records for project stakeholders.
- Assist with Audits: Support internal and external quality audits, participate in authority inspections, and ensure all documentation meets compliance.
- Ensure Health & Safety Standards: Observe safety practices during inspection tasks and enforce compliance with HSE and quality policies.
Requirements
- Education: Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering, Construction, or related field.
- Experience: 3–8 years of QA/QC or quality control surveying experience in construction projects, preferably in UAE.
- Technical Competence: Strong knowledge of inspection techniques, quality standards, and relevant UAE codes/authority requirements.
- Project Controls: Capable of managing inspection schedules, quality documentation, and reporting tasks on time.
- Leadership: Works well with site teams and contractors to ensure quality issues are identified and addressed.
- Commercial Acumen: Understands how quality performance affects project outcomes and communicates impact clearly.
