Paralegal

Key Responsibilities

• Draft and prepare legal documents such as contracts, affidavits, letters, and agreements under supervision with accuracy and consistency.
• Conduct legal research on statutes, regulations, and case law to support attorneys and help build legal arguments.
• Organize and maintain files by managing case records, electronic and physical documents, and updating legal databases.
• Assist with correspondence by preparing and managing communications with clients, courts, and government entities.
• Coordinate with authorities (e.g., notaries, government offices) for attestations, registrations, and filing legal paperwork.
• Support legal team operations by tracking deadlines, scheduling meetings, and taking minutes when required.
• Help with compliance tasks by preparing reports, checking regulatory requirements, and assisting with audit requests.

Requirements

• Experience: 1–5 years supporting legal teams, law firms, or corporate counsel in legal assistance.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Law, Legal Studies, or a related field; paralegal certification helpful.
• Technical Competence: Skilled in legal research, drafting, document management, and use of MS Office tools.
• Project Controls: Able to manage case files, track deadlines, and update legal records reliably.
• Leadership: Works well independently and collaboratively with lawyers and administrative teams.
• Commercial Acumen: Understands legal workflows and supports efficient handling of legal processes.
