Key Responsibilities

  • Lead nursing operations by setting goals, monitoring performance, and ensuring nursing services align with hospital standards and patient care expectations.
  • Develop policies and protocols that support safe, effective nursing practices and ensure compliance with DHA and accreditation requirements.
  • Manage nursing staff through recruitment, performance reviews, training, scheduling, and workforce planning for optimal coverage.
  • Oversee quality improvement activities by tracking clinical outcomes, patient satisfaction, and operational metrics to drive better care.
  • Coordinate with leaders across departments to plan budgets, resources, and strategic health initiatives that improve patient services.
  • Ensure regulatory compliance and readiness for audits, inspections, and accreditation processes in line with UAE healthcare laws.
  • Promote professional development by mentoring nursing leaders, supporting education programs, and fostering a culture of continuous learning.

Requirements

  • Experience: Minimum 10 years clinical nursing experience with at least 5 years in senior nursing leadership roles.
  • Education: Bachelor’s in Nursing required; Master’s or postgraduate healthcare management preferred.
  • Technical Competence: Deep understanding of clinical standards, healthcare systems, and quality improvement processes.
  • Project Controls: Able to set KPIs, monitor metrics, and manage service improvement projects effectively.
  • Leadership: Strong team leadership, staff development, and inter-department coordination skills.
  • Commercial Acumen: Capable of managing budgets, resources, and operational efficiencies within healthcare settings.
