Nurse Practitioner

Key Responsibilities

• Assess and diagnose patients by performing thorough physical exams and health histories to determine medical conditions accurately and timely.
• Develop and manage treatment plans tailored for individual patient needs, monitor progress, adjust care, and ensure positive outcomes.
• Prescribe medications and therapies within scope of practice and in line with UAE regulations and collaborative agreements.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests such as labs and imaging, using results to guide clinical decisions.
• Provide patient education and counsel patients and families on disease prevention, treatment plans, and self-care practices.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams including physicians, nurses, and allied professionals to coordinate holistic care.
• Maintain accurate records of assessments, diagnoses, treatments, and follow-up care in compliance with DHA standards.

Requirements

• Experience: Minimum 2 years post-qualification clinical experience in advanced practice nursing.
• Education: Master’s in Nursing with Nurse Practitioner specialization or equivalent advanced clinical qualification.
• Technical Competence: Skilled in diagnostic assessment, clinical decision making, and safe medication prescribing.
• Project Controls: Ability to document care plans, manage patient caseloads, and track health outcomes effectively.
• Leadership: Works independently, leads clinical practice, supports junior clinicians, and promotes best practices.
• Commercial Acumen: Understands healthcare facility operations, regulatory compliance, and contributes to quality care delivery.
