Key Responsibilities
- Nuclear Safety Analysis – Conduct safety assessments, risk models, and compliance checks to support safe operation of nuclear plant systems.
- Technical Support & Problem Solving – Provide engineering guidance on core systems, equipment performance, and technical issues in daily operations.
- Reactor/System Monitoring – Monitor reactor behavior, performance data, and system feedback to maintain stable and reliable plant operation.
- Documentation & Reporting – Prepare clear technical reports, logs, and regulatory documentation for engineering and safety records.
- Regulatory & Standards Compliance – Ensure work aligns with UAE nuclear regulations, IAEA guidance, and internal safety policies.
- Interdisciplinary Coordination – Work with operations, maintenance, and safety teams to support integrated engineering solutions.
- Continuous Improvement – Help refine engineering processes, identify risks, and recommend improvements to procedures and systems.
Requirements
- Experience – 3–8 years in nuclear engineering or related power/energy engineering roles.
- Education – Bachelor’s degree in Nuclear, Mechanical, Electrical, or similar engineering field.
- Technical Competence – Strong grasp of nuclear systems, safety analysis tools, and engineering software.
- Project Controls – Able to manage engineering tasks, schedules, and technical deliverables.
- Leadership – Capable of leading technical discussions, mentoring junior staff, and driving solutions.
