Maintenance Planner

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and update daily, weekly, and monthly maintenance plans (PPM) for equipment and facilities.
• Create detailed work packages for technicians, including step-by-step procedures, estimated labor hours, required materials, tools, and necessary permits (PTW).
• Identify, order, and track necessary spare parts and materials in coordination with procurement to ensure they are available before maintenance begins.
• Develop long-term equipment replacement management plans by determining the economic validity of repairing versus replacing an asset.
• Assist in developing annual budgets for facility fleets and equipment, and perform monthly analysis of actual versus planned costs to identify savings.
• Analyze “virtual warehouses” and spare parts consumption to reduce excess stock while preventing critical shortages.
• Support UAE sustainability goals by monitoring energy consumption spikes and identifying energy-saving opportunities through better-maintained HVAC and lighting systems

Requirement

• A solid understanding of machinery, equipment, and preventative maintenance practices.
• Problem-solving skills to handle surprise issues.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, for effective interaction with stakeholders.
• A Bachelor’s degree in engineering, facility management, or a related field.
• Relevant certifications or training in maintenance planning have an additional advantage.
• English is compulsory, while proficiency in Arabic offers a significant advantage.
