Key Responsibilities

  • Provide Cross‑Border Tax Advice – Advise clients on inbound and outbound tax implications, double tax treaties, permanent establishment and related international tax issues.
  • Tax Structuring Support – Help design tax‑efficient business structures for multinational operations to reduce risks and enhance compliance.
  • Interpret Tax Laws & Treaties – Review and interpret domestic and international tax laws, treaties, and rulings to give accurate guidance.
  • Compliance Monitoring – Track global tax developments, ensure client compliance, and prepare necessary documentation for authorities.
  • Support Tax Planning Projects – Work with teams on tax planning initiatives tied to investments, transactions and business expansions.
  • Client & Stakeholder Communication – Communicate tax advice and updates clearly to clients, finance teams, and external partners.
  • Mentor & Guide Teams – Coach junior staff, share knowledge on international tax matters, and contribute to team development.

Requirements

  • Experience – Minimum 4–8 years in international tax advisory, ideally with a Big 4 or global tax practice.
  • Education – Bachelor’s in Taxation, Accounting, Finance or related; Master’s or tax specialization a plus.
  • Technical Competence – Strong knowledge of tax treaties, BEPS, cross‑border tax rules and UAE tax regime.
  • Project Controls – Able to manage multiple international tax engagements and deadlines accurately.
  • Leadership – Capable of leading client engagements and mentoring junior tax professionals.
  • Commercial Acumen – Understand business drivers, tax impacts on investments and cross‑border strategies.
