Key Responsibilities
- Provide Legal Advice: Offer clear, business‑focused legal guidance to internal teams on contracts, disputes, and regulatory issues across UAE operations.
- Draft & Review Contracts: Prepare, review, and negotiate commercial, service, and partnership agreements to protect company interests.
- Ensure Compliance: Monitor and advise on compliance with UAE federal laws, free zone rules, and sector‑specific regulations.
- Manage Legal Risks: Identify legal risks early, recommend solutions, and support risk mitigation strategies for business initiatives.
- Coordinate with Stakeholders: Work with external law firms, regulators, and internal teams to resolve legal matters effectively.
- Support Transactions: Assist with legal aspects of corporate transactions, due diligence, and business developments as required.
- Maintain Legal Records: Organise and keep accurate legal documents, filings, and contracts for governance and audit purposes.
Requirements
- Experience: 4–8 years post‑qualification legal experience, ideally including in‑house or law firm work in UAE.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Law (LLB). Postgraduate legal qualifications are an advantage.
- Technical Competence: Strong drafting, negotiation, and legal research skills with solid UAE law knowledge.
- Project Controls: Able to manage workload, legal projects, and contract timelines independently.
- Leadership: Excellent communication and stakeholder management with internal and external legal partners.
- Commercial Acumen: Understand business objectives to balance legal risk with commercial outcomes.
