Key Responsibilities

  • Plans and manages all front desk operations daily, including check-ins and check-outs, assigning rooms to VIPs/groups/crews, selling rooms, and recording guest details.
  • Manages and checks reception staff, makes sure they look professional, and ensures guests are satisfied and service standards are followed.
  • Trains new and existing staff, provides on-the-job guidance, motivates the team, and ensures excellent performance to maintain high guest satisfaction and service standards.
  • Coordinates with all hotel departments to ensure accurate guest information, including rates, room type, billing, and requests, ensuring all special requirements are addressed efficiently.
  • Stays updated on hotel services and local travel info, supervises cashier operations of staff, and ensures proper management and communication of the hotel loyalty program.
  • At shift end, reports guest complaints, incidents, and pending issues to the next team, ensuring smooth operations, proper follow-up, and overall front office efficiency.
  • Performs administrative duties including staff briefings, preparing, reviewing, and writing reports, and completing other tasks necessary to ensure smooth and efficient front office operations.

Requirements

  • Diploma or degree preferred in Hospitality or Hotel Management; relevant work experience may substitute.
  • Minimum 2–3 years front office experience in hotels; prior supervisory or leadership experience preferred.
  • Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal, and understanding of Arabic is an additional advantage.
  • Abilities of problem solving, decision making, and working in a fast-paced, Multicultural environment.
  • Basic computer skills, including MS Office, and knowledge of using hotel management software are essential.
  • Knowledge of UAE hospitality standards and local market/customer expectations.
