Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and oversee hospital quality and patient safety programs, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and compliance with regulations.
  • Develop and monitor departmental strategic plans, ensuring progress and compliance with JCI, Dubai Health Authority/Department of Health, and other healthcare regulations.
  • Lead and manage process improvement projects, audits, and risk management activities to improve patient care quality and safety.
  • Ensure the hospital is inspection-ready, manage regulatory compliance, and act as an expert on healthcare laws and accreditation standards.
  • Manage collection, analysis, and reporting of quality and patient safety data to support performance improvement initiatives and regulatory compliance.
  • Develop and oversee clinical risk management programs, investigate incidents, and ensure lessons learned are shared and implemented to improve patient safety.
  • Work with hospital staff and outside agencies to help with audits, inspections, and accreditation, making sure all rules and standards are followed.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Nursing, Healthcare Administration, Public Health, or related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in a healthcare setting is required with excellent analytical, problem-solving, and strategic decision-making skills.
  • Strong expertise in quality improvement principles and statistical methodologies.
  • Ability to know how to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels to drive organizational change.
  • Proven ability to lead and manage teams effectively in challenging or complex environments.
  • Strong knowledge of UAE healthcare standards and accreditation requirements, including JCI, DHA, and DoH compliance.
