Government Relations Officer

Key Responsibilities

•  Coordinating with the management of any matter/accident at the Ministry of Interior, related/ General Department of Traffic, to drivers and attending on behalf of the company.
• Process all relevant tasks related to customs, airport, and other bodies.
• Assist departments in resolving any issues related to company vehicle registration and renewal.
• Arrange the processing of attestation of any related documents.
• Assisting in renewing official documents of the company, e.g., trade license, chamber of commerce, CR, import license, municipality license, etc.
• Assisting in carrying out procedures for adding new activities to the entity’s CR.
• Assisting in carrying out procedures of issuing new branch licenses/CR for new locations and obtaining all necessary approvals/ licenses/training.

Requirements

• Have a bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college.
• Have 3+ years of experience in a government relations role in the UAE.
• Display excellent communication skills with fluency in written and spoken English.
• Have the ability to multitask effectively and balance priorities in an ever-changing, fast-moving, time-sensitive environment.
• Be able to anticipate needs and make judgment calls within your area of expertise and responsibility.
• Display a high value for integrity and kindness, and show a sense of humor.
