Key Responsibilities
- Manage Financial Operations: Oversee daily accounting work including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger, and month‑end close with accuracy and timeliness.
- Financial Reporting: Prepare and publish accurate financial reports, statements, and management information for executives and stakeholders.
- Budgeting & Forecasting: Lead annual budgets and cash flow forecasts, analyse variances, and support strategic planning discussions.
- Compliance & Controls: Ensure adherence to UAE regulations, IFRS, internal policies, and support statutory audits and VAT/corporate tax compliance.
- Cash Flow & Risk: Monitor cash flow, working capital, and financial risks to enable sustainable operations.
- Team Leadership: Guide, mentor, and supervise finance and accounts teams to maintain high performance.
- Process & System Optimisation: Improve financial processes, ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle), and reporting tools for accuracy and efficiency.
Requirements
- Experience: 8–12 years in finance with at least 5 years in a controller or senior finance role.
- Education: Bachelor’s in Finance, Accounting, or related; Master’s preferred.
- Technical Competence: Proficient in financial reporting, ERP systems (SAP/Oracle), and advanced Excel.
- Project Controls: Able to manage reporting cycles, budgets, forecasts and meet tight deadlines.
- Leadership: Strong people management, coaching, and cross‑functional collaboration skills.
- Commercial Acumen: Understand business drivers, cost control, profit analysis, and strategic impact.
