Key Responsibilities

  • Plan Event Details: Work with clients to define objectives, themes, schedules, and budgets for corporate and social events.
  • Coordinate Vendors: Liaise with venues, caterers, suppliers, and transport teams to secure timetables and quality services.
  • Manage Logistics: Organise equipment, seating plans, audiovisual needs, and event layouts to ensure all elements are in place.
  • On‑Site Support: Be present during events to supervise setup, troubleshoot issues, and ensure timing runs smoothly.
  • Guest & Client Handling: Manage guest lists, RSVPs, seating, special requests, and maintain strong customer service standards.
  • Budget Monitoring: Track and report on event spending, help negotiate prices with suppliers for best value.
  • Post‑Event Review: Collect feedback, assess outcomes, and prepare reports to improve future events.

Requirements

  • Experience: 2–5 years coordinating events, conferences, or similar projects in Dubai or GCC.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Event Management, Marketing, Hospitality, or related field.
  • Technical Competence: Strong skills with event planning software and MS Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Project Controls: Able to organise timelines, task lists, checklists and deliver events on schedule.
  • Leadership: Can lead teams on‑site and coordinate cross‑functional efforts with clear communication.
  • Commercial Acumen: Understand budget impacts, cost negotiation, and delivering value for clients.
