Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct Impact Assessments: Lead environmental impact assessments (EIA) for projects, identifying risks and recommending mitigation actions.
  • Develop Management Plans: Create, implement, and monitor Environmental Management Plans (EMP) to ensure sustainability and legal compliance.
  • Monitor Environmental Conditions: Measure and analyse air, water, soil, and waste data to detect pollution and suggest corrective measures.
  • Regulatory Coordination: Liaise with UAE authorities, prepare compliance documentation, and secure permits as needed.
  • Prepare Reports: Draft clear technical reports, summaries, and compliance documents for stakeholders and regulators.
  • Support Project Teams: Advise project staff on environmental best practices and eco‑friendly design solutions.
  • Promote Sustainability: Recommend improvements in waste management, pollution control, and resource use for sustainable outcomes.

Requirements

  • Experience: 3–7 years in environmental engineering, monitoring, and compliance.
  • Education: Bachelor���s degree in Environmental Engineering, Environmental Science, or related field.
  • Technical Competence: Skilled with environmental tools, monitoring equipment, and software for data analysis.
  • Project Controls: Able to plan assessments, manage tasks, and deliver reports on schedule.
  • Leadership: Can guide environmental fieldwork and support junior engineers on projects.
  • Commercial Acumen: Understand how environmental decisions affect project cost, risk, and quality.
