Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and maintain compliance policies, procedures, and controls to meet UAE regulatory requirements and company standards.
  • Conduct regular audits and assessments to monitor compliance, identify gaps, and recommend corrective actions to management.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to provide guidance on regulatory obligations, internal policies, and risk mitigation measures.
  • Monitor changes in laws and regulations, analyze potential impacts on the organization, and ensure timely updates to internal policies and training programs.
  • Prepare reports, compliance documentation, and risk assessments for management, regulators, and internal stakeholders.
  • Investigate compliance breaches or incidents, coordinate corrective actions, document outcomes, and follow up to prevent recurrence.
  • Represent the organization during regulatory inspections, external audits, and industry forums, maintaining professional relationships and knowledge of best practices.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of compliance, risk management, or regulatory experience in UAE markets, preferably in finance, corporate, or service sectors.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Law, Business, Finance, or related field; professional compliance certifications (e.g., CCEP, CAMS) preferred.
  • Proficient with compliance management systems, MS Office, and reporting tools for audits and regulatory submissions.
  • Proven project controls: managing compliance audits, risk assessments, regulatory reporting, and cross-functional coordination.
  • Demonstrated leadership: guiding teams on compliance matters, conducting training sessions, and supporting internal investigations.
  • Strong analytical and regulatory acumen: interpreting laws and regulations, assessing risks, implementing mitigation measures, and monitoring compliance effectiveness.
