Key Responsibilities

  • As an Actuarial Analyst, you will gather, clean, and analyze insurance and financial data to support modelling, pricing, reserving, and wider business decisions.
  • You will review data trends, risk exposures, and performance patterns to help teams understand what is changing in the business and how those changes may affect future results.
  • The role also includes supporting pricing work by helping calculate premiums, assessing product profitability, and using data to guide fair and commercially sound pricing decisions.
  • You will prepare clear reports, dashboards, and presentations that explain key findings, assumptions, and outcomes in a way stakeholders can understand and use.
  • As an Actuarial Data Analyst, you will help develop, test, and maintain actuarial forecasting models and financial models using the right tools and software.
  • You will work closely with underwriting, finance, product, and sales teams to share insights, answer data-related questions, and support better decision-making across the business.
  • You will also stay aware of competitor activity, regulatory updates, market conditions, and other factors that may influence actuarial analysis, pricing, and risk assessment.

Requirements

  • 2 to 5 years of experience as an Actuarial Analyst, insurance analyst, actuarial assistant, or in a related finance or insurance analytics role. UAE experience will be preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Finance, or a related field.
  • Strong Excel skills and experience using actuarial or analytical tools. Knowledge of R, SQL, Python, or Power BI will be an added advantage.
  • Good organization, task planning, and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple analyses at the same time.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to work well with teams and explain analytical findings clearly.
  • Good understanding of insurance pricing, profitability, risk impact, financial modelling, and key business metrics.
