Key Responsibilities
- As an Accountant, you will manage assigned client accounts, maintain strong working relationships, and act as a key point of contact for financial and account-related matters. The role requires a clear understanding of client goals, service expectations, and agreed timelines to ensure smooth delivery.
- You will support revenue growth by assisting with renewals, cross-sell opportunities, commercial proposals, payment follow-ups, and accurate forecasting. This includes working closely with management to track monthly and quarterly targets.
- The Accounts Executive will coordinate with delivery, marketing, and product teams to translate client requirements into clear internal briefs. You will also help track implementation, manage approvals, and ensure reporting is completed accurately and on time.
- You will monitor account performance by reviewing KPIs, usage data, billing details, and financial trends. Weekly and monthly reports should include practical recommendations for both clients and internal stakeholders.
- The role also includes handling budgets, invoicing, contract compliance, payment schedules, and revenue records. As a Financial Accountant, you will work closely with finance and procurement teams to resolve discrepancies, support collections, and ensure accurate revenue recognition.
- You will help resolve client escalations by coordinating with internal teams, identifying the root cause of issues, documenting outcomes, and following up to prevent the same problems from recurring.
- In addition, you may represent the company in client meetings, industry events, and RFP discussions, while supporting pipeline development, market awareness, and competitor intelligence.
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of experience in accounting, client account handling, or B2B account management within the UAE market, preferably in the technology or services sector.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field. Professional accounting or sales-related certifications will be an added advantage.
- Proficiency in CRM systems such as Salesforce or HubSpot, along with strong MS Excel and reporting skills for account tracking and client analytics.
- Strong ability to manage timelines, budgets, SLAs, cross-functional coordination, and risk-related follow-ups.
- Good leadership and coordination skills, including the ability to support junior team members, participate in client meetings, and manage account-level performance reviews.
- Strong commercial and financial understanding, including negotiation support, forecasting, contract review, pricing, revenue modelling, and KPI tracking.
