Key Responsibilities

  • As an Account Manager, you will take ownership of assigned client accounts and act as the main point of contact throughout the relationship. This includes understanding client goals, anticipating their needs, and making sure contracted services are delivered within agreed SLAs and timelines.
  • You will support revenue growth through renewals, upsells, and cross-sell opportunities. The role also involves preparing proposals, negotiating commercial terms, maintaining accurate forecasts, and working toward monthly and quarterly sales targets.
  • The Client Account Manager will work closely with delivery, marketing, and product teams to turn client requirements into clear briefs. You will also track implementation, manage approvals, and ensure work is delivered on time and to the expected quality.
  • You will monitor account performance, review KPIs and usage data, and prepare weekly and monthly reports for clients and internal stakeholders. These reports should include useful recommendations, trend insights, and clear next steps.
  • The role also includes managing budgets, invoicing, contract compliance, and payment schedules. You will coordinate with finance and procurement teams to resolve discrepancies, support collections, and ensure revenue is recorded accurately.
  • When issues arise, the B2B Account Manager will handle client escalations quickly and professionally. This means coordinating internal teams, proposing practical solutions, documenting outcomes, and following up to reduce the chance of repeated issues.
  • You will also represent the company at industry events, attend client meetings, support RFP responses, and build local networks that help generate pipeline and strengthen the company’s market presence. Keeping an eye on competitor activity will also be part of the role.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of B2B account management experience in the UAE market, preferably within the technology or services sector.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field. Professional sales certifications or equivalent experience will be an advantage.
  • Experience using CRM systems such as Salesforce or HubSpot, along with strong MS Excel and reporting skills for client analytics.
  • Strong project control skills, including the ability to manage timelines, budgets, SLAs, cross-functional delivery, and risk mitigation.
  • Proven leadership ability, including mentoring junior team members, leading client meetings, managing small account teams, and supporting performance reviews.
  • Strong commercial understanding, including negotiation, forecasting, contract review, pricing strategies, revenue modelling, and KPI tracking.
