Production Supervisor

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate shift operations in a distribution center, ensure production targets are met, maintain accuracy in order handling, and provide efficient service to achieve overall operational goals.
• Lead team members by providing guidance, training, and evaluating their performance. Manage schedules, assign tasks, conduct performance discussions, ensure timely delivery, and maintain discipline.
• Identify improvement opportunities to simplify processes, increase productivity, and minimize waste. Focus on improving quality and reducing operational costs to achieve better results and resource utilization.
• Collaborate with HR to manage employee relations and identify training needs, ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, and support a positive work environment.
• Support customer service and operations teams by improving processes to enhance order fulfillment, ensure timely, accurate deliveries, and increase overall service quality and customer satisfaction.
• Use ERP systems to monitor production activities, track inventory levels, and evaluate shipping performance, ensure accurate data management, efficient operations, and timely fulfillment of customer orders.
• Prepare daily production reports, track KPIs, maintain records, and report performance to management to monitor efficiency, output, waste, downtime, and overall operational productivity.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical/Industrial engineering or in related fields.
• 3-5 years of experience in production or warehouse supervision.
• Strong understanding of production planning, scheduling, and workflow management.
• Proficiency in using ERP systems like SAP, Oracle, and MS Office.
• Knowledge of safety rules and compliance with UAE regulations.
• Effective communication and problem-solving skills.
