Clinical Data Manager

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement Data Management Plans (DMP), CRF design, and validation procedures to ensure data integrity.
• Oversee the electronic data capture (EDC) systems, database building, and validation checks.
• Perform data entry cleaning, resolve queries, manage discrepancies, and oversee data reconciliation.
• Ensure all data management processes comply with Good Clinical Practice (GCP), ICH guidelines, and CDISC standards (SDTM/ADaM).
• Work with clinical operations, biostatisticians, and external vendors to ensure timely and accurate data delivery.
• Manage the timely lock of the database and transfer of datasets for statistical analysis.
• Increasingly, CDMs will use automated and AI-augmented tools for medical coding, anomaly detection, and data validation to speed up database locks.

Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Pharmacy, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in clinical management.
• English, both written and verbal, is compulsory.
• A problem-solving mindset helps in identifying gaps and finding practical solutions during the study process.
• Willingness to learn new technologies is valuable, especially as digital tools continue to evolve in this field.
• Knowledge of industry-standard data analysis and reporting software, such as SAS, SQL, and/or Oracle Clinical.
