Key Responsibilities
- Tracking updates from authorities and implementing compliance frameworks.
- Creating, reviewing, and updating internal policies, SOPs, and manuals to ensure compliance with legal and ethical standards.
- Conducting compliance risk assessments, internal audits, and gap analyses.
- Providing practical, business-focused advice to senior management on regulatory compliance related to projects, contracts, and operations.
- Acting as the primary point of contact for external auditors and regulators.
- Delivering staff training on regulatory obligations, anti-money laundering (AML), and data privacy.
- Help new staff and existing teams understand the company’s legal duties in an easy and practical way.
Requirements
- A Bachelor’s degree in Law, finance, or related fields is mandatory.
- 5+ years of experience in legal roles is desirable, especially in the UAE.
- Professional certifications like CAMS, CCEP, or an ICA Diploma are strongly preferred.
- Confidence in working with different departments and guiding them on rule-related matters.
