Key Responsibilities

  • Tracking updates from authorities and implementing compliance frameworks.
  • Creating, reviewing, and updating internal policies, SOPs, and manuals to ensure compliance with legal and ethical standards.
  • Conducting compliance risk assessments, internal audits, and gap analyses.
  • Providing practical, business-focused advice to senior management on regulatory compliance related to projects, contracts, and operations.
  • Acting as the primary point of contact for external auditors and regulators.
  • Delivering staff training on regulatory obligations, anti-money laundering (AML), and data privacy.
  • Help new staff and existing teams understand the company’s legal duties in an easy and practical way.

Requirements

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Law, finance, or related fields is mandatory.
  • 5+ years of experience in legal roles is desirable, especially in the UAE.
  • Professional certifications like CAMS, CCEP, or an ICA Diploma are strongly preferred.
  • Confidence in working with different departments and guiding them on rule-related matters.
  • Good time management, since this role often involves multiple tasks at once.
  • Strong attention to detail, especially when checking contracts or official documents.
