Instrumentation Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, design, and maintain instrumentation and control systems, ensuring the design system meets the UAE’s local regulations and industrial safety standards.
• Use certified equipment for industrial use. Meanwhile, checking, testing, and maintaining instruments to ensure they work accurately and reliably.
• Implement and manage control systems to monitor and regulate processes and operations while collaborating with multidisciplinary engineering teams.
• Conduct research to develop new instrumentation and improve existing technologies. Ensure that processes run smoothly, safely, and efficiently.
• Prepare and review technical documentation, and ensure compliance with industry standards and safety regulations.
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for instrumentation-related issues while training and supervising technicians and other personnel.
• Handle complex projects and strategic initiatives, interact with clients, stakeholders, and management to align project goals with business objectives.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Instrumentation, Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics, or Control Engineering
• 3-5 years of working experience as an instrumentation engineer and exposure to multinational projects.
• Strong teamwork, problem-solving, and analytical skills, expertise in instrument calibration and maintenance techniques.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision in a fast-paced working environment, with a strong understanding of electrical and mechanical systems.
• Proficiency with software like AutoCAD, SCADA, HMI, PLC, and good understanding of UAE  health and safety standards.
• Project management and organizational skills, ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
