Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic planning and management of military supply chains for equipment, personnel, and resources for military logistic operations. Ensure the timely and safe delivery of supplies.
  • Utilize advanced software platforms such as Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and Geographic Information Systems (GIS) to streamline supply chain management and asset tracking. All asset and supply records are accurate.
  • Handle complex logistical tasks efficiently. Coordinate with different military units and departments to understand their needs and provide timely logistics support when required. Ensure all units receive the right supplies when needed.
  • Identify potential risks such as supply delays, security threats, or environmental challenges. Regular updates and reports to senior officers about logistics status, challenges, and progress for better decision-making.
  • Make sure all the logistics activities comply with the UAE’s military rules, regulations, and legal protocols. Always be ready for a quick adjustment to the military logistics plan during an unexpected situation.
  • Always have backup plans and strategies to minimize disruptions in logistic operations. Share innovative solutions and approaches for improving military logistical procedures.

Requirements

  • Candidates should have a Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or Business Administration.
  • At least 3-5+ years of UAE or GCC regional work experience within a logistics organization or working with military stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in inventory control, preparing reports, analyzing logistics data, and efficient management of supply chains.
  • Knowledge of the UAE Ministry of Defence policies, security procedures, and documentation standards.
  • Strong communication skills for coordination, problem-solving mindset, attention to detail, and time management.
  • Candidates must have experience using ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle, Microsoft Excel, and reporting tools.
