Construction Planner

Key Responsibilities

• Develop solid plans that form the basis of the budget and work schedule, using the right technology.
• Create schedules based on the team’s capabilities and availability to meet the client’s needs and preferences.
• Working with the estimators to calculate resource needs for projects and organizing activities so that all tasks are completed on time.
• Track the status of the ongoing tasks and compare them with the baseline schedule to identify any deviations.
• Produce progress reports and forecasts for team members, clients, and stakeholders. This report will help with on-time and on-budget deliveries.
• Working closely with stakeholders to assess the feasibility of proposed adjustments and to modify the project schedule and resource allocation.
• Ability to lead junior planners and be able to work as a multitasker, managing construction site work and office queries.

Requirements

• A bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field, with a strong foundation in project principles.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, effective identification and resolution of scheduling challenges.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with project teams and stakeholders.
• An ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a proactive approach to identify and minimize project risks, and on-time deliveries.
• 3 to 5+ years of experience as a construction project manager in roles like leading teams, managing budgets, or adhering to safety codes.
• English proficiency is compulsory to bridge the gap between high-level management and a diverse multicultural workforce.
