Key Responsibilities
- Preparing and analyzing detailed credit proposals, facility applications, financial statements, and industry trends.
- Accessing client creditworthiness and risk profile, and structuring facilities like tenor, pricing, collateral, and covenants.
- Calculate and assign risk ratings with the help of internal credit models, and recommend capital optimization strategies.
- Work closely with relationship managers to structure credit solutions, and participate in client meetings to address queries.
- Coordinate with documentation/ legal teams to ensure accurate and complete credit documentation.
- Minimizing documentation errors, maintaining updates, and organizing credit files.
- Monitor assigned loan portfolios, track financial triggers, and handle regular risk reviews and reporting.
Requirements
- Graduate in Finance / Accounting (MBA / CA / CPA / CMA preferred).
- Experience in corporate or commercial banking credit.
- Strong financial statement analysis and credit appraisal skills.
- Knowledge of banking products, working capital, and trade finance.
- Good coordination, analytical, and communication skills.
- Strong proficiency in Excel and data analysis tools, with the ability to manipulate and interpret large datasets.
