Credit Analyst

Key Responsibilities

• Preparing and analyzing detailed credit proposals, facility applications, financial statements, and industry trends.
• Accessing client creditworthiness and risk profile, and structuring facilities like tenor, pricing, collateral, and covenants.
• Calculate and assign risk ratings with the help of internal credit models, and recommend capital optimization strategies.
• Work closely with relationship managers to structure credit solutions, and participate in client meetings to address queries.
• Coordinate with documentation/ legal teams to ensure accurate and complete credit documentation.
• Minimizing documentation errors, maintaining updates, and organizing credit files.
• Monitor assigned loan portfolios, track financial triggers, and handle regular risk reviews and reporting.

Requirements

• Graduate in Finance / Accounting (MBA / CA / CPA / CMA preferred).
• Experience in corporate or commercial banking credit.
• Strong financial statement analysis and credit appraisal skills.
• Knowledge of banking products, working capital, and trade finance.
• Good coordination, analytical, and communication skills.
• Strong proficiency in Excel and data analysis tools, with the ability to manipulate and interpret large datasets.
