Key Responsibilities

  • Payment to vendors via checks, bank transfers, or online methods. Proper documentation and scheduling to ensure all suppliers are paid on time.
  • Reconciliation of accounts and statements with financial regulations to ensure all financial records are accurate. Efficiently manage tasks, time, and resources. Ensurance of accurate completion of all tasks.
  • Review and track invoices from vendors to check their accuracy and match them with corresponding purchase orders. Identify discrepancies or errors in invoices and resolve them promptly with vendors to maintain accurate financial records.
  • Assistance to senior financial officers with various financial reporting tasks, preparing and verifying expense reports, generating financial statements, analyzing data, maintaining historical records, or providing support during audits.
  • Responding to payment-related queries and resolving any disputes. Maintaining accurate vendor records and managing contracts to ensure smooth business relationships and proper documentation.
  • Comparing purchase orders, prices, terms of payment, and other charges. Maintaining proper documentation for audits and internal reporting. Ensure compliance with company policies and adhere to local UAE financial regulations.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in particular industries such as FMCG, trading, hospitality, and an appropriate cooperative environment.
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, business, or finance, in addition to relevant diplomas such as ACCA, CPA, or CMA.
  • Capable of managing multiple tasks, data analysis skills, and skills in identifying discrepancies as well as cost reduction opportunities.
  • Knowledge of accounting applications such as MS Excel, as well as ERP software such as SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks, and Zoho Books.
  • Strong communication skills to effectively communicate with vendors as well as internal teams, in addition to time management skills for timely payments.
  • Knowledge of accounting principles, such as GAAP or IFRS, and an understanding of UAE VAT regulations and other local compliance.
