Key Responsibilities

  • Follow assigned construction tasks, read and interpret drawings or instructions, use appropriate tools and machinery, and ensure work is completed safely, accurately, and on schedule.
  • Assist with site preparation, material handling, and equipment setup, contribute to daily work plans, and ensure adherence to project specifications and quality standards.
  • Collaborate with site supervisors, engineers, and fellow workers to coordinate activities, report progress, and implement instructions efficiently for timely project completion.
  • Monitor work areas for safety compliance, identify hazards, report incidents, and contribute to maintaining a clean and organized construction site.
  • Support inventory management by handling materials, checking deliveries, and reporting shortages or damages to ensure uninterrupted workflow.
  • Resolve minor on-site issues promptly, escalate complex problems to supervisors, document completed tasks, and ensure adherence to site protocols and standards.
  • Represent the team professionally during site inspections, assist in demonstrating work progress to clients or auditors, and support company initiatives for safety, quality, and efficiency improvements.

Requirements

  • 3+ years practical construction experience in UAE markets, preferably in building, civil, or infrastructure projects.
  • Basic education required; vocational training or certifications in construction, safety, or relevant trades preferred.
  • Proficient with construction tools, equipment, and machinery, including power tools, hand tools, and site safety gear.
  • Proven ability to follow project plans: reading drawings, executing tasks accurately, coordinating with other trades, and maintaining workflow efficiency.
  • Demonstrated teamwork: working alongside colleagues, following supervisor instructions, and supporting junior workers on-site.
  • Strong safety awareness: knowledge of occupational health and safety standards, hazard recognition, and compliance with site rules and regulations.
