Key Responsibilities
- Support project planning: Help develop schedules, resource plans, risks and work sequences with the project team.
- Monitor progress: Track project activities against plans, highlight delays and propose corrective actions to engineers and managers.
- Coordinate teams: Liaise with engineering, procurement, construction and QA/QC groups for smooth task flow.
- Manage documentation: Prepare, file and control project documents, reports, drawings and change logs.
- Support quality and compliance: Ensure work meets technical standards, safety rules and regulatory requirements.
- Report status: Provide clear updates on costs, schedule, risks and milestones to leaders.
- Assist in risk control: Identify project risks early, recommend mitigations and help implement risk responses.
Requirements
- Experience: 3–8+ years as a project engineer in engineering, construction or infrastructure projects.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical or similar).
- Technical Competence: Skilled with scheduling tools (MS Project, Primavera) and engineering software.
- Project Controls: Able to track tasks, deliverables and change control with accuracy.
- Leadership Support: Works well with multi‑discipline teams in dynamic environments.
- Commercial Acumen: Understand project costs, cost control and value considerations in delivery.
