Key Responsibilities

  • Install Plumbing & Mechanical Systems: Fit, align and secure pipes, valves, fixtures, pumps and mechanical equipment in buildings and facilities according to technical plans and safety codes.
  • Perform Repairs & Maintenance: Diagnose faults; repair or replace worn or broken plumbing lines, mechanical parts, and fixtures to keep systems fully operational.
  • Conduct Preventive Checks: Do routine inspections, test system performance, and carry out preventive tasks to avoid breakdowns and extend life of plumbing and mechanical assets.
  • Follow Safety & Regulations: Adhere to local Dubai health, safety and building codes during all installation, maintenance, and repair work.
  • Record Work & Materials: Keep accurate daily logs of work done, materials used, and time spent to support reporting and inventory control.
  • Collaborate With Teams: Work with other technicians, site supervisors, and contractors to complete projects efficiently and resolve technical issues.
  • Emergency Response: Respond promptly to urgent system failures or service calls and restore function with minimal disruption.

Requirements

  • Education: Vocational certificate, ITI diploma, or trade qualification in plumbing or mechanical discipline.
  • Experience: 2–5+ years hands‑on work in plumbing, mechanical, MEP, or similar technical roles.
  • Technical Competence: Proficient with installation, maintenance and troubleshooting of plumbing and mechanical systems and tools.
  • Project Controls: Able to manage work orders, schedules, and preventive maintenance tasks accurately.
  • Leadership: Works independently and supports junior technicians when required on site.
  • Commercial Acumen: Understands cost‑effective use of materials and time while complying with Dubai site standards.
