Key Responsibilities

  • Design & Optimize Processes: Develop, analyse, and improve industrial process flow, PFDs, and operational efficiency to enhance productivity and reduce waste.
  • Simulation & Modeling: Use process simulation tools such as Aspen HYSYS, CHEMCAD to model systems and test performance under various conditions.
  • Risk & Safety Assessment: Conduct risk assessments and support HAZOP, safety reviews, and compliance with UAE standards (DMS, ADNOC).
  • Troubleshooting: Investigate process issues, analyze data, and implement corrective actions to maintain stable operations.
  • Documentation: Prepare technical reports, operating procedures, P&IDs, and process manuals for engineering and compliance.
  • Cross‑Team Collaboration: Work closely with operations, R&D, QA/QC, and safety teams to deliver improvements.
  • Project Support: Assist project teams during commissioning, and optimization phases, ensuring engineering standards are met.

Requirements

  • Experience: 3–10 years in process engineering roles, preferably with UAE or GCC experience.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Chemical, Process, Industrial, or Mechanical Engineering.
  • Technical Competence: Skilled in process simulation tools (HYSYS, CHEMCAD), AutoCAD, and engineering calculations.
  • Project Controls: Able to plan work, organize tasks, meet deadlines and follow engineering schedules.
  • Leadership: Good communication and teamwork skills; able to explain technical issues clearly.
  • Commercial Acumen: Understand how process changes impact costs, quality, and business goals.
