Key Responsibilities

  • Collect and Document Safety Reports: Receive, record, and organize adverse event and safety reports from healthcare professionals and patients, ensuring accuracy, confidentiality, and completeness.
  • Evaluate Cases: Perform initial review and assessment of safety information to ensure details are complete, relevant, and ready for regulatory submission.
  • Report to Authorities: Submit required safety and adverse event reports to UAE health authorities within local regulatory timelines for compliance.
  • Maintain Safety Data Systems: Keep pharmacovigilance databases and documentation up to date, ensuring quality and accessibility of safety records.
  • Support Signal Detection: Help identify potential safety signals by reviewing data and literature and share findings with relevant internal teams.
  • Collaborate Across Teams: Work with regulatory, medical, and quality teams to ensure consistent application of procedures and accurate safety communication.
  • Prepare Reports and Documents: Draft periodic and required safety reports, summaries, and risk information for internal and external stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor’s or higher degree in Pharmacy, Life Sciences, Medicine, or related field.
  • Experience: Minimum 2–3 years in pharmacovigilance, safety monitoring, or related pharmaceutical safety role.
  • Technical Competence: Skilled in safety databases, case management tools, and MS Office applications.
  • Project Controls: Ability to manage case timelines, deadlines, and reporting schedules reliably.
  • Leadership: Works independently, supports compliance activities, and collaborates with cross‑functional stakeholders.
  • Commercial Acumen: Understands local UAE PV regulations and health authority expectations.
