Key Responsibilities
- Perform Quality Inspections: Conduct daily inspections of equipment, materials, and works on oil & gas projects to check compliance with standards and specifications.
- Report & Document Findings: Prepare accurate inspection reports, test records, NCRs (Non‑Conformance Reports), and maintain quality evidence.
- Follow Quality Plans: Ensure all activities match Project Quality Plans (PQP), Inspection Test Plans (ITPs), and QA/QC procedures.
- Coordinate with Teams: Work with engineers, contractors, consultants, and vendors to resolve quality issues effectively.
- Monitor Compliance: Check that work meets international codes (API, ASME, ISO) and project‑specific quality standards.
- Witness Testing: Observe field and fabrication tests like welding, pressure, and material testing as required and record results.
- Support Audits: Participate in internal and external quality audits and support corrective/preventive action follow‑up.
Requirements
- Experience: Minimum 3–7 years QA/QC inspection experience in oil & gas projects, onshore or offshore.
- Education: Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Civil, Electrical) preferred.
- Technical Competence: Strong understanding of QA/QC standards, inspection procedures, and documentation practices.
- Project Controls: Ability to manage inspection tasks, follow ITPs, and meet reporting timelines reliably.
- Leadership: Good communication skills and ability to work with multidisciplinary teams and clients.
- Commercial Acumen: Know how quality affects project cost, schedule, and client satisfaction.
