Manager Defence Engineering (Infrastructure Protection)

Key Responsibilities

• Develop cybersecurity infrastructure strategy: Create plans to protect enterprise systems, networks and cloud infrastructure using secure design and modern tools.
• Lead defence engineering execution: Oversee engineering work to build and maintain strong infrastructure protection solutions with minimal downtime.
• Assess and improve security: Test defence systems, find weaknesses and implement solutions for stronger, scalable protection.
• Set security policies and controls: Develop and enforce procedures to safeguard critical data, systems and access.
• Manage stakeholder relationships: Work with technology partners and teams to meet service levels and support business requirements.
• Ensure resilience and modernization: Guide programs to modernize infrastructure and adopt best practices for future security needs.
• Lead and mentor teams: Direct and grow a global security engineering team, fostering performance and learning.

Requirements

• Experience: 10+ years in cybersecurity engineering with infrastructure protection focus in enterprise settings.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity or related field.
• Technical Competence: Skilled in network, server and cloud‑native infrastructure protection technologies.
• Project Controls: Proven ability to manage security projects, schedules and delivery with precision.
• Leadership Support: Experience directing large engineering teams globally with strong coordination skills.
• Commercial Acumen: Understand budgeting, vendor negotiation and cost‑effective security solutions.
