Key Responsibilities

  • Case Strategy & Planning – Develop practical legal strategies and prepare strong arguments for civil and commercial disputes from start to finish in UAE courts.
  • Court Representation – Represent clients confidently in hearings, trials, and procedural sessions before local courts and tribunals.
  • Legal Research & Drafting – Research UAE laws and draft legal documents including pleadings, motions, briefs, and memorandums.
  • Client Consultation & Advice – Meet clients, understand their issues, and provide clear legal guidance on risks and next steps.
  • Evidence & Documentation – Review case evidence, organize legal files, and ensure all materials support client positions effectively.
  • Negotiation & Settlement – Negotiate with opposing counsel to seek favorable case settlements and alternatives to trial.
  • Compliance & Updates – Stay updated on UAE legal changes, new case law, and procedural rules affecting litigation work.

Requirements

  • Experience – Minimum 5 years litigation experience, ideally within UAE legal systems and courts.
  • Education – Bachelor’s in Law (LLB), legal qualification, and local licensing where required.
  • Technical Competence – Strong drafting skills, legal research tools, case preparation, and advocacy skills.
  • Project Controls – Capability to manage multiple files, deadlines, and litigation timelines efficiently.
  • Leadership – Ability to guide junior lawyers and contribute to team success in complex cases.
