Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor regulatory changes: Track updates from UAE regulators (e.g., CBUAE, SCA) and assess impact on company policies and practices.
  • Provide advisory support: Advise business units on implementing regulatory requirements and compliance best practices for operations.
  • Draft guidance documents: Prepare clear advisory notes, regulatory summaries and internal communications for stakeholders.
  • Support compliance frameworks: Help update and refine compliance frameworks and control documentation to reflect regulatory obligations.
  • Engage with stakeholders: Work with legal, risk and business teams to ensure consistent regulatory interpretation and actions.
  • Prepare reports: Produce regulatory obligation registers, dashboards and briefing materials for senior management review.
  • Assist regulatory interactions: Support responses to regulator inquiries, audits and required submissions when needed.

Requirements

  • Experience: 3–8+ years in regulatory advisory, compliance or related roles within banking, finance or corporate sectors.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Law, Finance, Business, Economics or related field.
  • Technical Competence: Strong understanding of UAE regulatory frameworks, compliance tools and documentation standards.
  • Project Controls: Ability to manage regulatory review tasks, tracking, documentation and deadlines reliably.
  • Leadership Support: Works well across teams, supports compliance and business leaders with clear advice.
  • Commercial Acumen: Understand business processes, risk impacts and regulatory cost implications.
