Key Responsibilities

  • Design & Review I&C Systems: Prepare and review I&C designs, P&IDs, logic diagrams, and control specifications to ensure compliance with standards and project needs.
  • Support Installation & Commissioning: Guide installation, perform commissioning tests, calibrate instruments, and verify system functionality on site or in facilities.
  • Troubleshoot & Maintain Systems: Diagnose control system issues, implement corrective actions, and maintain DCS, PLC, SCADA, and field instruments for reliable operations.
  • Coordinate with Teams: Work with multidisciplinary engineering, operations, and vendors to resolve technical issues and deliver integrated solutions.
  • Monitor Quality & Compliance: Ensure all I&C work meets technical, HSSE, UAE regulations, and industry engineering standards.
  • Documentation & Reporting: Prepare accurate engineering reports, test results, loop sheets, and change notes for projects.
  • Continuous Improvement: Recommend system improvements, optimisations, and technology enhancements to improve performance and safety.

Requirements

  • Experience: 5–10 years of I&C engineering experience in oil & gas, industrial, or energy projects.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Instrumentation, Control, Electrical, or related Engineering.
  • Technical Competence: Strong in PLC/DCS/SCADA, instrumentation design, control loops, and calibration.
  • Project Controls: Able to manage deliverables, schedules, and execute tasks on time with accuracy.
  • Leadership: Communicates clearly across departments, guides technicians, and supports cross‑team coordination.
  • Commercial Acumen: Understand how technical decisions impact project cost, reliability, and operational efficiency.
