Key Responsibilities

  • Develop & Implement HSE Plans: Create, maintain, and enforce HSE policies and procedures that reduce risk and protect people, property, and the environment.
  • Conduct Risk Assessments: Identify hazards, assess risks, and recommend practical controls to minimise incidents in the workplace or on project sites.
  • Lead Training & Awareness: Organise and deliver safety training, inductions, and briefings to improve staff competency and understanding of HSE requirements.
  • Monitor Compliance: Ensure all operations follow UAE HSE regulations, international standards, and internal company policies without compromising quality.
  • Incident Investigation: Lead investigations of accidents, near misses, and unsafe conditions, document findings, and ensure corrective action is taken.
  • Audit & Reporting: Run regular HSE audits and field inspections, prepare clear reports, and share insights with senior management.
  • Promote Safety Culture: Work with teams to foster a proactive safety culture, encouraging continuous learning and improvement across departments.

Requirements

  • Experience: 7–15 years of HSE experience, including senior-level responsibility in construction, infrastructure, or industrial sectors.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Engineering, Environmental Science, or related field.
  • Technical Competence: Strong knowledge of UAE HSE laws, international standards (ISO 45001/14001), and safety auditing.
  • Project Controls: Able to plan inspections, schedule audits, and manage HSE documentation and compliance activities.
  • Leadership: Proven skill in leading safety teams, coaching staff, and influencing cross‑functional stakeholders.
  • Commercial Acumen: Understand how HSE practices impact project cost, reputation, and operational performance.
