Key Responsibilities
- Conduct Safety Inspections: Carry out regular site or facility inspections to identify hazards and ensure compliance with HSE standards and UAE regulations.
- Risk Assessment & Reporting: Perform risk assessments, prepare clear reports, and recommend corrective actions to mitigate workplace hazards.
- HSE Training Coordination: Organise and deliver safety inductions, toolbox talks, and awareness sessions for employees and contractors.
- Monitor Compliance: Ensure all work activities align with company HSE procedures, ISO 45001/14001 standards, and local safety laws.
- Incident Investigation: Support investigation of accidents/near misses, document findings, and follow up on preventive measures.
- Maintain Records: Keep accurate HSE documentation, inspection logs, training records, and dashboards for management review.
- Collaborate with Teams: Work with operations, contractors, and management to promote safety culture and resolve HSE issues.
Requirements
- Experience: 2–5 years in HSE coordination or safety roles, preferably with UAE or GCC exposure.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Occupational Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or related field.
- Technical Competence: Strong knowledge of HSE regulations, risk assessment, audit methods, and MS Office tools.
- Project Controls: Able to organise inspections, track tasks, manage HSE reports, and meet deadlines.
- Leadership: Good communication and teamwork skills to guide staff and engage cross‑functional teams.
- Commercial Acumen: Understand how safety compliance affects operations, costs, and business continuity.
