Key Responsibilities

  • Clean guest rooms by dusting, sweeping, mopping, making beds and replenishing amenities to maintain high hygiene standards daily.
  • Maintain public areas including hallways, lobbies and service spaces so all visible spaces are tidy and welcoming.
  • Handle supplies and equipment by stocking carts, tracking cleaning stock and reporting shortages for timely replenishment.
  • Report issues promptly by notifying supervisors of maintenance needs, damages or guest concerns for quick resolution.
  • Follow safety and hygiene protocols by using cleaning chemicals and tools correctly and maintaining a safe work environment.
  • Respond to guest requests professionally and assist with extra needs like towels or special cleaning tasks when needed.
  • Support team communication by attending briefings, coordinating tasks and helping colleagues for smooth operations.

 

Requirements

  • Experience: At least 1 year in housekeeping or cleaning roles preferred in hospitality or corporate settings.
  • Education: High school diploma or basic certificate; vocational housekeeping training an advantage.
  • Technical Competence: Skilled in routine cleaning tasks, safe use of tools and chemical handling.
  • Project Controls: Able to organise cleaning schedules and complete duties within set time frames.
  • Leadership: Can coordinate with peers, assist new staff and support supervisors when needed.
  • Commercial Acumen: Understand quality presentation, guest expectations and efficient supply usage.
