Hotel Duty Manager

Key Responsibilities
- Oversee shift operations: Manage front desk, guest services, and public areas during assigned shifts to ensure seamless daily hotel functioning.
- Guest issue resolution: Respond quickly and effectively to guest complaints or emergencies, maintaining guest satisfaction at all times.
- Team support & coordination: Coordinate with housekeeping, concierge, security, and other departments for consistent service delivery.
- Service quality monitoring: Conduct inspections of facilities and public spaces to maintain hotel standards and presentation.
- VIP & arrivals support: Assist with VIP arrivals, departures, and special guest needs professionally and courteously.
- Safety & procedures enforcement: Implement health, safety, security, and emergency procedures during the shift.
- Operational reporting: Prepare and submit clear shift reports, logs, and handovers to senior management.
Requirements
- Experience: Minimum 2+ years in hotel operations or supervisory roles, preferably in luxury hotels.
- Education: Diploma or degree in Hospitality, Hotel Management or related field preferred.
- Technical skills: Good command of hotel PMS systems (e.g., Opera) and English communication.
- Leadership: Proven ability to lead teams and make decisions under pressure.
- Guest focus: Strong customer service and guest relations skills.
- Commercial awareness: Basic understanding of revenue principles and upselling is an asset.
