Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver specialist care to patients through accurate diagnoses, evidence-based treatments, and best clinical practices.
  • Perform clinical procedures within your specialty safely and effectively, aligning with UAE standards and protocols.
  • Collaborate with teams including nurses, allied health and other specialists to coordinate patient treatment plans.
  • Maintain patient records clearly and accurately, including electronic health systems in line with DHA requirements.
  • Participate in rounds and case discussions to review patient status and care improvements within the medical unit.
  • Communicate with patients and families respectfully, explaining conditions, treatments and care expectations.
  • Uphold compliance with healthcare regulations, safety policies, and continuing professional development criteria.

Requirements

  • Education: MBBS/MD or equivalent with postgraduate specialty qualification from a recognized institution.
  • Experience: Minimum 2-3 years post-specialization clinical experience relevant to the field.
  • Licensing: Valid UAE medical license from DHA or eligible health authority prior to practice.
  • Technical Skills: Competent in specialty-specific procedures and medical technology usage required for patient care.
  • Leadership: Ability to guide junior staff, contribute to team decisions and support clinical workflow efficiency.
  • Commercial Acumen: Understanding hospital operations, documentation standards, and clinical performance indicators.
