Key Responsibilities

  • End‑to‑End Tax Filings – Prepare and submit VAT, corporate tax and other periodic tax returns accurately and on time to meet Federal Tax Authority requirements.
  • Tax Position Reviews – Conduct internal tax assessments, verify tax positions, exemptions and prepare supporting documentation for audits and compliance checks.
  • Record Maintenance – Maintain complete tax records, reconciliations, and documentation that show tax calculations, filing history, and compliance evidence.
  • Regulatory Monitoring – Monitor changes in UAE tax laws and VAT rules and help teams adjust processes and reports accordingly.
  • Coordination with Advisors – Work with external tax consultants, auditors and Federal Tax Authority contacts to resolve compliance queries quickly.
  • Support Compliance Reporting – Assist finance and legal teams with MIS, compliance dashboards, and reporting for internal and external reviews.
  • Stakeholder Communication – Clearly communicate compliance status, risks, and updates to management and cross‑functional teams.

Requirements

  • Experience – 3–7 years of tax compliance work, with exposure to UAE VAT and Corporate Tax frameworks.
  • Education – Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related fields; CPA/ACCA or tax diploma preferred.
  • Technical Competence – Strong knowledge of UAE tax regulations, FTA filings, and tax authority portals.
  • Project Controls – Able to plan and manage filing deadlines, reconciliations, and compliance tasks efficiently.
  • Leadership – Good communication and coordination skills to work with finance and external advisors.
  •  Commercial Acumen – Understand business impacts of tax processes and support risk‑aware decisions.
