Key Responsibilities

  • Design Electrical Systems: Create, review, and improve electrical plans, schematics, and layouts using design tools for projects.
  • Supervise Installation: Oversee electrical work on site to ensure compliance with specifications, safety codes, and quality standards.
  • Troubleshoot Issues: Diagnose electrical faults, perform tests, and resolve problems during installation, commissioning, and operation.
  • Coordinate with Teams: Work with MEP, construction, and technical teams to align electrical work with overall project goals.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure electrical designs and installations meet Dubai/ UAE authority rules and international standards.
  • Prepare Reports: Document work progress, test results, and technical notes for project tracking and approvals.
  • Support Commissioning: Assist in system testing, commissioning, and handover to ensure safe, reliable operations.

Requirements

  • Experience: 3–7 years in electrical engineering, design, or site execution in UAE or similar projects.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
  • Technical Competence: Proficient with AutoCAD, Revit MEP, electrical codes, and power system fundamentals.
  • Project Controls: Able to plan tasks, manage timelines, and help deliver projects on schedule and within budget.
  • Leadership: Can guide junior staff, coordinate contractors, and communicate clearly across teams.
  • Commercial Acumen: Understand project costs, contract requirements, and impact of decisions on budgets.
