Key Responsibilities

  • Provide Tax Advice & Compliance: Advise clients on UAE VAT, corporate tax, Economic Substance Regulation, and transfer pricing compliance.
  • Prepare and File Returns: Compile and submit accurate VAT and corporate tax returns, ensuring deadlines and FTA requirements are met.
  • Monitor Regulatory Updates: Stay updated on changing UAE tax laws and communicate implications to clients to adjust compliance strategies.
  • Support Tax Planning: Develop tax‑efficient strategies to minimise liabilities and assist clients with structure optimisation within UAE rules.
  • Assist in Audits & Disputes: Handle FTA queries, support tax audits, and prepare responses for assessments or penalty appeals.
  • Analyse Financial Data: Review financial transactions and records to assess tax impacts and ensure accuracy for filings and recommendations.
  • Client Communication: Maintain clear and professional communication with clients, explaining tax results, deadlines, and compliance requirements.

Requirements

  • Experience: 2–5 years in tax consulting or corporate tax roles with UAE tax law focus.
  • Education: Bachelor’s in Accounting, Finance, Taxation, or related field required.
  • Technical Competence: Strong understanding of UAE VAT, Corporate Tax, FTA procedures, and IFRS impact on tax.
  • Project Controls: Ability to manage reporting deadlines, tax filings, and compliance schedules reliably.
  • Leadership: Clear communicator who can guide clients and collaborate with internal teams.
  • Commercial Acumen: Understands how tax affects business decisions and profitability in UAE market.
