Key Responsibilities

  • Lead Tax Compliance – Manage all corporate tax registration, return preparation, submissions, payments, deadlines, and documentation to meet UAE Federal Tax Authority rules clearly and on time.
  • Provide Tax Advisory – Advise business teams and clients on corporate tax issues, impacts of transactions, planning opportunities, and regulatory changes.
  • Monitor Regulations – Track UAE and international tax law changes, interpret implications, and update internal teams for compliance and strategy.
  • Tax Planning & Strategy – Design and recommend tax‑efficient strategies, help minimize liabilities legally, and support decision‑making.
  • Coordinate Audits – Lead tax audits with external auditors and FTA, prepare responses, and support audit processes.
  • Team & Stakeholder Communication – Work with finance, legal, and external advisors, communicate clearly about tax matters and responsibilities.
  • Reporting & Documentation – Maintain accurate records, tax policies, internal guides and performance reports for management review.

Requirements

  • Experience – 6–10 years in corporate tax or tax compliance roles, ideally in UAE or Big 4 accounting firms.
  • Education – Bachelor’s in Accounting, Finance or related field; Master’s is a plus.
  • Technical Competence – Strong understanding of UAE corporate tax, VAT basics, transfer pricing and international tax standards.
  • Project Controls – Able to plan, execute and track tax compliance projects and deadlines effectively.
  • Leadership – Capable of guiding tax teams and working confidently with senior staff and clients.
  • Commercial Acumen – Good business sense, analytical skills, and ability to align tax strategies with company goals.
